japandi-wood-led-table-lamp
Japandi Cordless Wood Table Lamp – USB Powered, Walnut or Beech

This Cordless Wood Table Lamp, a simple column with a single glowing slot, standing on a round wooden base: this tiny table lamp is as simple as a lamp can be, and that is exactly its charm. The warm 3000K light glows softly through the slot in the wood, so you see a thin line of gold rather than a bare bulb. It runs from any USB power source, such as a laptop, a power bank or a phone charger, and the cable has an inline on/off switch. Choose dark walnut or light beech.

The design style: Japandi
Japandi blends Japanese calm with Scandinavian warmth: natural wood, plain shapes, soft light and nothing you do not need. This lamp fits that thinking exactly. It is made of wood, in a simple cylinder on a simple disc, with the light as the only decoration. Walnut gives a rich, dark brown and beech a pale, honey tone, and the grain of the wood makes every lamp slightly different. It sits easily beside linen, paper, ceramics and pale oak, and it suits quiet, uncluttered rooms.

Why it's worth it
A Cordless Wood Table Lamp with a lot of character for a small price. It stands only 18 cm tall on an 8 cm base, so it fits on a crowded desk, a narrow shelf or a bedside table. The LED light is built in, so there is no bulb to buy or replace. USB power means you can use it with a laptop at a desk, a power bank in a dorm or a charger by the bed. The lamp is not cordless, so it needs to stay connected to a USB power source while it is switched on.

Light and atmosphere
The slot in the wood lets out a thin, warm line of 3000K light, which gives a soft glow without a harsh glare. It is a gentle night light, a calm reading light for a small book and a pretty ambient light for a shelf or a window sill. The lamp is not dimmable, so it gives one steady, warm level of light.

Styling ideas
Put it on a bedside table beside a stack of books and a glass of water. On a desk, it adds a warm glow next to a laptop without taking much space. On a shelf, group it with a small plant and a ceramic vase for a calm Japandi corner. Use walnut with pale surfaces for contrast, and beech with white and grey for a soft, light look.

Small spaces and travel
Because the lamp runs on USB, it goes where a mains lamp cannot: plug it into a power bank for a camping trip or a hotel room, into a laptop for a desk by the window, or into the USB port on a bedside socket. The compact size and the flat wooden base keep it steady on a bookshelf or a narrow ledge, and it packs easily into a bag.

For your home
It suits a bedside table, a desk, a shelf, a window sill or a dorm room. It is a lovely gift for a student, a new home or anyone who likes simple, natural things. It is easy to use anywhere you have a USB port, even when travelling. For dry indoor use.

For designers and trade
A small, natural accent light for boutique hotel rooms, guest bedrooms, cafés, shops and styled shelves. The wooden body adds warmth to a scheme, and the USB power means it can sit where there is no mains socket nearby, for example beside a USB charging point.

Specifications

Style: Japandi

Material: natural wood, walnut or beech

Shape: round base, cylindrical body

Height: 18 cm

Base: 8 cm wide, 2 cm thick

Light source: LED, built in (no bulb needed)

Light colour: 3000K warm white

Power: USB powered, 5V, not cordless

Cable: USB cable with inline on/off switch included

Dimmable: no

FAQs

Is it cordless or rechargeable?
No. This lamp is USB powered, so it needs to stay connected to a USB power source, such as a laptop, a power bank or a phone charger.

Is a USB cable included?
Yes.
