Lighting curated without compromise.

A specialist lighting destination for discerning homeowners, interior designers, architects, and hospitality professionals across Europe — whether you are transforming a single room or refurbishing an entire hotel, every fixture is chosen for one reason: it will still feel right in ten years.

The phonetic of Nordic, in Sanskrit.

Nauradika is the phonetic rendering of "Nordic" in Sanskrit — two design traditions separated by thousands of miles, united by a shared commitment to considered form and quiet beauty. The name is a signal of intent: what we curate is built to last, in every sense.

Sanskrit

Nauradi·ka

One of the world's oldest languages of refinement and scholarship — a tradition that prizes precision of meaning, the long view, and beauty that endures.

Nordic

Form follows function

One of the world's most enduring expressions of functional beauty — designs that earn their place in a room, never decorative for their own sake.

From homeware boutique to lighting specialist.

Founded in London in 2022, Nauradika began with a simple frustration: finding modern, well-designed lighting at honest prices was harder than it should be. We rebuilt the collection around a single question — would we still be proud of this in a decade?

2022

Founded in London

Jean-Charles Lacoste incorporates Nauradika Limited out of a personal frustration: modern, well-priced lighting was too hard to find. The collection begins with pieces he had sourced himself and would buy again.

2023 – 2024

The specialist emerges

Over 300 homeware products are removed. The collection is rebuilt around 200+ lighting fixtures, each selected for design longevity, material quality and honest pricing. The trade programme launches for designers and architects.

Today

Homes, hotels & studios

From private residences to boutique hotel refurbishments and commercial fit-outs across Europe, Nauradika is the trusted lighting partner for professionals who need quality, range and honest pricing — without the delays of traditional supply chains.

Rooted in four design traditions.

Every fixture traces to one of four design lineages — each chosen because it produces objects that transcend the moment they were made.

Scandinavia

Form follows function

The clean lines and material honesty of Danish, Swedish and Norwegian design. Fixtures that illuminate without imposing — quietly exceptional.

Japan

The poetry of restraint

Wabi-sabi imperfection and considered emptiness. Fixtures that treat light as material — as carefully as the object that holds it.

Korea

Quiet precision

Korean minimalism at its most resolved — pieces that demonstrate mastery not through complexity but through an almost severe simplicity.

Italy

Sculptural modernism

The boldness of Italian mid-century and contemporary design — fixtures that are confidently architectural, made to be noticed and to last generations.

The lighting partner for hospitality.

Hospitality spaces live or die by atmosphere — and atmosphere is lighting. From boutique hotel refurbishments to new restaurant openings and commercial fit-outs, Nauradika has the range, the expertise and the pricing model to support projects of any scale across Europe.

Boutique hotels

Refurbishments & new builds

Whether refreshing a single floor or relighting an entire property, we stock the depth and variety to cover every space — guest rooms, lobbies, corridors, dining areas and suites — from a single source. Trade pricing, personalised quotes and dedicated project support included.

Restaurants & bars

Atmosphere by design

The right pendant over a bar, the right sconce in a dining room — these are not finishing touches, they are the decisions that define whether a guest returns. Our range spans sculptural pendants, statement chandeliers, architectural sconces and discreet task lighting.

Offices & commercial

Fit-outs & workspaces

Well-specified lighting lifts productivity, defines brand identity and signals quality to every visitor. We supply architects and fit-out contractors directly — with the range to handle a mixed-use building and the pricing to keep project budgets honest.

Designer taste, without the markup.

We work directly with manufacturers, removing the intermediary chain that typically inflates lighting prices by 40–60%. Every saving passes directly to you — without compromising a single detail of quality or specification.

Independent benchmarking from Google Merchant Center confirms that Nauradika is priced below comparable competitors on 75% of products. Great design should be accessible — inflated retail margins are not a requirement of quality.

A small team. A focused collection.

A lean, remote-first team headquartered in the heart of London. No showroom theatre. No inflated overheads. Every resource goes into the quality of what we source and the service we provide.

Curation

Buyers

Every product is assessed against our curation standard before joining the collection. We look at design longevity, material quality, manufacturing integrity, and whether the price is honest relative to what you receive.

Fulfilment

Logistics

We ship directly from suppliers in France, the UK and Asia to your door — cutting one full leg of transit and the emissions that go with it. Most products arrive within 2–3 weeks. Project orders get personalised timelines on request.

Professional projects

Design advisors

Trade members have a named point of contact for every project — someone who knows the collection, understands project constraints, and can specify the right fixture for the right space. No ticket queues, no generic responses.

The principles we work by.

◎  Customer focused

Our customers are the lifeblood of the business. We go above and beyond to solve their problems, create genuine value, and earn their trust — one project at a time.

⊕  Inclusive & welcoming

We are an LGBTQ+ friendly business. We believe inclusivity makes us stronger and work to ensure everyone in our community feels safe, welcome and respected.

⊗  Considered & frugal

Being frugal keeps us nimble, lets us experiment and means we make decisions with the long term in mind. We do not waste resources on things that do not matter — so you do not pay for them.

◈  Sustainably minded

Direct-from-supplier shipping removes one full leg of transit, reducing emissions and keeping our footprint lean. Good design and responsible sourcing are not mutually exclusive.

The people behind the collection.

A small, remote-first team with our main office at 86–90 Paul Street, London — curators, logistics specialists and design advisors who work across every order.
